ACTiO[n] is a practical acting space for adults.
Come to work on scenes, characters, text, voice and improvisation. Take direction, try different choices and see what changes.
No audition. No need to arrive already knowing what to do. No pressure to spend months rehearsing towards a full production.
You come to act.

There is no single route into a scene. We work practically: try something, make a choice, respond to what happens and try again.

Work with text, relationships, objectives and subtext. Try different choices and discover what changes.
BUILD CHARACTER
Use imagination, voice, physicality and behaviour to find characters beyond the obvious first idea.
PLAY A PART
Work with other actors, take creative risks and experience what happens when a scene starts to come alive.
